Curriculum Viet Of Joe Alex DeLeon M.D.

Dr. Joe de Leon is a highly experienced board-certified physician who is enthusiastic about cannabinoid potential in medicine. As we affectionately call him, Dr. Joe has practiced medicine for over 30 years and has dedicated the past 5 years to incorporating CBD. His journey into CBD began when he started researching CBD. After investigating CBD, he was inspired and started incorporating CBD into his and his patients' daily routines.

Dr. de Leon completed his Medical Doctorate at the University of Texas School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas. He then completed his Residency in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Cardiology, and Cardiac Catheterization from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. During his Private Practice in Port Arthur, Texas, he was elected to two terms as Chief of Staff of St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. He established a Pulmonary division at St Mary's Hospital. He has co-authored papers on Occupational Medicine and aneurysms of the coronary arteries.

He has also established a charitable Medical clinic at the Tepehua community center in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, to treat people with low incomes, orphans, children, and prenatal and postnatal women.

Dr. Joe has stated, "I'm very excited about the research projects that are going on right now with CBD. So far, the preliminary results are very encouraging!"
